ImperiusRex’s trademark IDM/electronica sound blends with newer elements of Lofi, Vaporwave and downtempo Trap to encapsulate the essence of wasted days, teenage summers and years long gone. Inspired by nostalgia and sadness in equal measure, Elegy stands as a tribute to a dearly departed friend, but also as a bold contrast to the rest of ImperiusRex’s music catalogue.
